Symptoms. Not every heart attack is the same. While men tend to have the major chest tightness symptom, it’s entirely possible that some people may feel it with much weaker severity. The pain a person feels during a heart attack varies. Some people may not have any symptoms at all! Others may not experience the symptoms until the cardiac episode actually occurs. It’s an interesting dichotomy, because some people will actually start getting warnings days or even weeks before the cardiac episode. Getting symptoms early enables a person to seek medical help quickly before the heart attack can even occur.
